Hello World Processing

Watching Hello World! Processing gave me a new perspective on how coding connects with creativity. It was interesting to see artists use programming to make visuals move, react, and come to life. One part that stood out showed how simple shapes, like the circles, could grow into complex patterns with so many depths and tectures just by changing a few numbers. It showed how small adjustments in code can completely change the look and feeling of a project.

I also liked that Processing was created for people who might not have a strong technical background. The artists in the film talked about experimenting and learning as they went, which made the process feel open and inviting. It reminded me of sketching or painting, only with code as the medium. After watching this I definitely see programming in a new way, as a creative tool that lets people explore ideas and express themselves visually and it will be interesting how my brain will interpret a lot of the things I see now. I will probably question what kind of coding is behind all of it.
