About Me:

A little about myself...

My name is Joshuah Tayor. I’m a student at the University of Toledo, where I study business entrepreneurship and innovation, digital marketing, and graphic design. I also compete on the men’s cross-country team. Outside of academics and athletics, I’m the owner, designer, and craftsman behind Joshuah Taylor Woodworks.

Since I first picked up woodworking in 2020, it’s been more than just a hobby for me. I’ve spent countless hours learning the patience, precision, and storytelling that come with working by hand, and I’ve found a real love for the process itself. What makes it even more rewarding is being able to share that passion with others. I enjoy giving back, whether that’s teaching someone a new technique, encouraging beginners to dive in, or just showing the behind-the-scenes of my projects on social media. For me, woodworking isn’t only about creating beautiful pieces - it’s about building a community, passing down timeless skills, and finding ways to connect people through the craft.

I make it a priority to spend time with the people and activities that bring me joy. I enjoy being with my family, whether it’s sharing a meal, catching up, or just hanging out together. When I have free time, you can often find me out on the disc golf course, behind a drum set, or exploring the outdoors on a camping trip. I like keeping a balance between staying active, being creative, and slowing down to enjoy the simple things, and those hobbies give me a chance to recharge and connect with the people and places I care about most.
